We are currently recruiting for two Healthcare Assistant positions to join a beautiful country house care home set within seven acres of landscaped gardens in Dawlish, South Devon.
We have one day position and one night position available
, both offering 24 hours per week

The RoleAs a Healthcare Assistant, you will work as part of the care team to provide high-quality, person-centred support to residents, helping them maintain their dignity, independence and quality of life.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing compassionate personal care and support to residents
- Supporting residents with washing, dressing, continence and personal hygiene
- Assisting with mobility and transfers where required
- Supporting residents with meals, drinks and daily activities
- Developing positive and meaningful relationships with residents
- Promoting dignity, independence and choice at all times
- Following individual care plans and risk assessments
- Observing residents and reporting any changes in their health or wellbeing
- Working closely with colleagues, senior staff and healthcare professionals
- Maintaining accurate care records and documentation
- Supporting a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents
- Working as part of a friendly and supportive care team
Healthcare Assistant – Days

- Minimum 6 months’ experience working in a care environment
- Previous experience supporting elderly residents is desirable
- Caring, compassionate and respectful approach
- Passionate about providing person-centred care
- Reliable, trustworthy and committed to high standards of care
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Willing to support residents with all aspects of their daily care
- Committed to promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing
- A positive attitude and genuine desire to make a difference to residents’ lives
