Clinical IT Systems Trainer

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Devon Partnership NHS Trust Clinical IT Systems Training Team on a 12‑month fixed‑term post. As a member of the team you will play an integral part in the development and delivery of the Trust's vision to be a truly digital healthcare organisation, supported by a solid foundation of infrastructure and innovative use of technology to enable excellence.

• Deliver end‑user training for the Electronic Patient Record System (EPR), including mobile applications, and other clinical and IT systems as required, both virtually and face‑to‑face.
• Provide training across all sites within Devon Partnership Trust, delivering to a wide range of staff at various locations.
• Support the development, administration and delivery of clinical systems and IT training courses that meet organisational requirements.
• Collaborate with IT support teams to identify customers who may require additional training and ensure training is carried out professionally, timely and effectively.
• Work autonomously to meet deadlines, in partnership with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders within a fast‑paced environment.
• Work flexibly when required and travel to other Trust sites across Devon.

• Experience of clinical systems or delivery of IT‑related systems training.
• Interest and ability to impart information to others, sharing knowledge, skills and expertise.
• Willingness to learn and develop themselves, and ability to learn complex tasks quickly with little prior knowledge.
• Strong communication skills, able to convey learning to staff at all levels in a logical, concise and clear manner.
• Prepared to reiterate Trust policies and procedures to ensure good practice and consistency.
