A Solar Electrician will support the installation and maintenance of new and existing solar systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and test electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances
- Monitor system performance and address hazards or necessary adjustments
- Maintain tools and promote safety and environmental best practices
- Assemble and install solar modules, racking, and electrical components
- Perform basic AC/DC wiring for solar systems
- Ensure job site is clean and orderly
- Attend training on products, installation, and safety procedures
- Follow all safety protocols and support the installation team
- Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned by management
- 3+ years of electrical experience
- Solar experience (residential) preferred
- Valid driver's license
- OSHA 10 or 30 required
- Must have own tools
- Skilled in safely terminating live wires and performing service upgrades
- Comfortable working on pitched roofs and at heights
- Able to work in extreme weather conditions
- Capable of climbing ladders and stairs
