Parish Administrative Assistant - Catholic Communities of Northwest

The Catholic Communities of Northwest Dayton (Precious Blood, St. Paul, and St. Rita) are seeking a resourceful and skilled part-time Administrative Assistant (28 hours per week) to join our team.

The successful candidate will be a practicing Catholic with a strong knowledge and understanding of the Catholic faith. This individual will have a welcoming demeanor, a flexible personality, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, multi-office environment while interacting with staff, parishioners, families, and community members in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.

This multifaceted position includes a variety of administrative responsibilities and requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace, as well as the ability and willingness to learn parish management software and other programs as needed.

The Administrative Assistant must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be capable of serving as an effective liaison between the Pastor, parish staff, and the broader parish community. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, outgoing, dependable, and professional, with a strong commitment to providing excellent service and supporting the mission and ministries of our Catholic communities.
