Hours:
Monday-Friday 7:30 am-6:00 pm

The Body Shop Estimator is responsible for greeting all customers promptly and giving fair and detailed cost and time appraisals required for bodywork on damaged vehicles for insurance claim settlement.

• Keeping the customer informed of the progress and any changes that arise. Will use your excellent customer service and follow-through skills.
• Reviewing repair cost estimates with the body shop manager.
• Preparing insurance forms to indicate repair cost estimates and recommendations.
• Writing competitive estimates for insurance within each insurance company's time frame.
• Getting all paperwork processed timely and accurate.
• Preparing final invoice and any supplements prior to the customer arriving to pick up the vehicle.
• Final inspection of the vehicle after all work is performed.

• The body shop estimator requires a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• You will use your strong computer skills every day.
• Being able to compute ratios, percentages, and rates is used daily.
• You will need to be able to read and understand directions, data, and SOPs that are required by the insurance companies and the Voss Collision Centre.
• The Voss Collision Centre will make sure that you have the training needed to be successful as a body shop estimator.
