Job Overview (Part-Time Position)

Assist and support the Early Childhood Director by providing high quality childcare in the preschool and nursery setting in order to reach kids and empower families to Find Hope in Jesus Christ.

• Work with Early Childhood Director to ensure the safety and security of children in care
• Display a warm and welcoming attitude to families and children
• Follow and enforce Fairhaven Childcare policies and procedures so that all children and cared for in in a healthy, safe and welcoming environment
• Lead age-appropriate, Bible-based curriculum provided by Director
• Care for children in age-appropriate way, including; diapering, toileting, feeding, playing with, etc.
• Show the love of Jesus to children through play, reading, the provided lesson, etc.
  
  Clean and re-stock classroom at end of shift.
• Arrive ready to welcome children into your care at the time assigned by Early Childhood Director.
• Work as a ream with other Childcare workers and Kids’ staff to provide a coordinated approach to the ministry.

• Christian Maturity- a saving knowledge of and a growing relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ
• High School diploma or equivalent work, life or ministry experience
• Must be 16years old
