$20.02/hr - $24.68/hr
SummaryMiam Valley Child Development Centers is southwest Ohio's Head Start Agency. For over 55 years, we've been providing FREE early learning and childcare to children from 6 weeks to age 5. Our two-generational approach builds family well‑being by simultaneously working with children and the adults in their lives to access new resources, solve problems and sharpen existing skills. Families typically must earn 100% of the Federal Poverty Level or less.
Children experiencing homelessness or foster or kinship care are eligible. Children with disabilities may also qualify. We have full‑day and part‑day options at more than 27 locations in Montgomery, Clark, and Madison counties.
Full‑Time. Full‑Year. Non‑Exempt.
Duties- Plan, implement, and assess children’s developmental needs and evaluate daily activities that are developmentally appropriate.
- Prepare infants and toddlers for kindergarten using an innovative, engaging, and theme‑based curriculum that follows a structured format and builds relationships.
- Lift infants into and out of a crib and maintain active supervision of health, safety, and care per Head Start Performance Standards.
- Teach infant and toddler children and play a key part in the growth and development and overall supervision of daily activities.
MINIMUM CREDENTIALS:
Must have an Infant and Toddler or Preschool CDA.
