PROJECT MANAGER III – TP Mechanical

• Responsible for overall profitability of projects, ensuring timely completion of billing, change orders, and collections.
• Review job cost, status, manpower, and change order reports; conduct monthly job cost reviews to reflect accurate project profitability.
• Communicate and troubleshoot with project superintendents, construction managers, general contractors, project managers, administrative assistants, and other departments via meetings, memos, and emails.
• Coordinate proper manpower and equipment for each job.
• Oversee buyout process, job closeouts, and project change orders.
• Conduct or attend weekly job-site visits and meetings.
• Ensure proper job setup, contract review, estimated costs, and schedule of values are completed accurately.
• Generate project manager reports and attend project management meetings as appropriate.
• Track submittals, generate purchase orders, negotiate subcontracts and purchases for each project.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 10 years commercial plumbing/HVAC mechanical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of prior project management experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of general plumbing and piping installation.
• Good math ability.
• Good basic computer skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Strong organizational skills.
• General accounting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or equivalent is preferred.
• Journeyman Plumber license or equivalent experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Physical requirements:
  
  capable of climbing equipment and ladders, working at extreme heights, tolerating all weather, walking job sites with moving equipment.
