Role

The Associate Photographer captures virtual tours, floor plans, and photography for residential homes on  and  Using a Pro 3 Matterport camera, digital cameras, and an iPad, you will create high‑quality imagery and 3‑D content to support marketing efforts. Each photographer is assigned a core territory and is responsible for servicing clients within that area, meeting scheduled appointments, and ensuring accurate data capture.

Photographers are managed remotely by a Photography Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Support marketing efforts on  and  by capturing 3‑D virtual tours and footprints.
  • Create a portfolio of photographs that best showcase homes and apartments.
  • Coordinate with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, sales, research partners, and management to prioritize tasks.
  • While on site, navigate one‑mile square grids to ensure commercial real estate data coverage, identify new inventory, and photograph missing or newly listed properties.
  • Adhere to CoStar safety standards to protect company vehicles and equipment.
  • Represent CoStar professionally at all times.
  • Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.
Physical Requirements
  • Repetitive sitting in a car, standing, and walking up to 8 hours per day.
  • Lifting, carrying, and maneuvering equipment up to 5 pounds.
  • Repetitive hand and arm movements for typing on a tablet or laptop and operating camera equipment.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying.
  • Ability to work and drive outdoors in all seasons.
  • Availability to work weekends on a rotating schedule.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of professional photography experience.
  • Experience in real estate photography required.
  • Completed degree in photography or equivalent professional experience.
  • FAA Part 107 Drone certification (must be obtained within 30 days of offer).
  • Strong time‑management skills and attention to detail.
  • Accurate data capture and entry proficiency.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Windows, Apple OS, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications.
  • Independent work capability in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Field experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Compensation

Hourly pay with monthly bonus eligibility. Base hourly rate reflects $49,000‑$50,000 annually, based on relevant skills and experience, with performance‑based incentives.
