Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Pediatric Hospitalist to join our esteemed healthcare team at Miami Valley in Dayton, OH.

Responsibilities About the Team
  • Provide newborn nursery care with NICU support from Pediatrix Neonatologists.
  • The team will consist of 2 Pediatric Hospitalists.
  • Operate on a round-and-go model with call from home until evening.
  • A Pediatric nurse practitioner or Neonatal nurse practitioner will round with the Hospitalist.
About the Opportunity
  • Collaborate with Family medicine residents from Wright State University and participate in resident education.
  • Work closely with neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners to provide coordinated care.
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and clinical research projects.
  • Exchange ideas and best practices with a large network of Pediatrix providers.

Qualifications

Board-certified Pediatrician.
