Locum Tenens Physician - Emergency Medicine - Pediatric (Ohio)
We are seeking a Locum Tenens Physician - Emergency Medicine - Pediatric in Ohio.
Position Type: Locum Tenens

Rate: Open & Negotiable
Shift: Varied includes 4p 1a, 9a 6p, 8a 6p, 3p 11p, 7a 3p
Start Date: 8/1/2025
End Date: Ongoing as needed for leave coverage
- Patient Population: Pediatric
- Setting: Emergency Department (Main and South Campuses of Dayton Children's Hospital)
- Responsibilities: Provide emergency care to pediatric patients; supervise APPs and residents; admission order entry
- Required Procedures: General pediatric emergency care
- EMR System: EPIC
- Support Staff: 23 ED physicians, APPs, residents, full specialty consultant coverage
- Days Per Month: Varies
- On-Call/Weekends: Weekend coverage required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) in Pediatric Emergency Medicine (ABPEM) Required
- PALS, ATLS, and BLS Required
- Active Ohio medical license Required (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 60-day credentialing timeframe Must be noted in submission
