About Zand Dermatology
Zand Dermatology is a part-time role, 1 day per month in our Mill Valley, California office. Zand Dermatology is Marin County’s leading boutique dermatology practice, specializing in advanced aesthetics, medical dermatology and holistic wellness. Our practice is led by sisters Dr. Sarv Zand, a Harvard and MIT-trained double board certified dermatologist and MOHS surgeon; and Dr Paula Zand, a UC-Davis trained Board-Certified Family Physician specializing in Dermatology.
Both Zand sisters have deep expertise in dermatology, skin health, longevity, and holistic wellness. Our team of expertly trained physicians, medical providers and staff strives to bring our patients the highest level of skin expertise and science with personalized attention. Zand Dermatology is located in stunning southern Marin near the waterfront with beautiful views of the Bay and Mt Tamalpais.
We are seeking an experienced, board-certified MOHS surgeon on a contract basis with a minimum of 2 years post-fellowship experience to join our growing dermatology practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established, highly reputable clinic with a strong referral base and a consistent volume of complex cases. Our current providers have a steady flow of patients each day with significant staff support.
15,000 patient base
- Perform MOHS micrographic surgery with a commitment to precision, safety, and outstanding patient outcomes
- Provide surgical reconstruction tailored to patient needs
- Interpret pathology slides and ensure accurate margin assessment
- Participate in general dermatology care as desired (optional)
- Collaborate closely with our clinical and support teams to maintain high-quality patient care
- Contribute to a culture of professionalism, compassion, and clinical excellence
- Board Certified Dermatologist
- Fellowship-trained MOHS Surgeon (ACMS or ACGME)
- Active medical license in California or eligibility to obtain one
- Minimum of 2 years post-fellowship independent MOHS experience
- Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care
- Number of cases approximately 7 – 9 per day
- Excellent clinical support and MA/scribe assistance with 2 dedicated Medical Assistants
