Salary Range: $43,000 - $70,000 (Dependent on experience and education - prorated based on number of days)

- Knowledge of ODE's Social Emotional Learning Standards
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Teaching license:
Mild/Moderate – Intervention Specialist or Education of handicapped in areas of learning disabilities/behavior disorders (LD/BD) or emotionally‑disturbed/severe behavior handicapped (ED/SBH). - Adheres to Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators
- Trained in CPI/Non‑Violent Crisis Prevention (preferred; training provided if needed)
- Experience in IEP writing and Data Collection
- Proficient at conducting FBAs and writing BIPs
- Experience working with Emotionally Disturbed/Behaviorally Challenged Students
- Knowledge of Ohio Academic Content Standards and ability to write lesson plans that coordinate with them and that are differentiated to meet the needs of all students on caseload
- Ability to work with a team of professionals to meet the needs of every student
- Excellent attendance record and punctuality
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
- Prefer to have passing test score on Foundations of Reading (OAE 090)
Constructs and implements Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) and Behavior Plans for ED & other students in Learning Center program; conducts evaluations required to document student progress toward goals & objectives; participates in parent conferences to share information pertaining to the IEP and student progress.

- Completes paperwork accurately
- Verifies and correctly enters data
- Organizes tasks and manages time effectively
- Maintains an acceptable attendance record and is punctual
- Employee shall remain free from any alcohol or non‑prescribed controlled substance in the workplace throughout employment in the center
- Pass BCI/FBI background checks
