3rd Grade Math Teacher

Overview

We are looking for a qualified 3rd Grade Mathematics Teacher for a charter school in Dayton, OH. Pay starting at $38 per hour and up. You will teach according to the school’s curriculum and set guidelines. The goal is to provide an environment that encourages students to develop their math skills and learn from a variety of sources while also developing their personalities.

• Provide a thorough preparation of the material for the final exam.
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, tests, and other documentation as needed.
• Implement the teaching methods and materials in a practical manner to address individual students’ needs and progress as they mature.
• Provide individualized attention to each student, encouraging them to develop their math skills and personalities.
• Establish a positive relationship with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with colleagues on projects and activities.
• Prepare reports, presentations, assignments, etc., as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development programs.

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics or related field preferred but not required.
• Previous experience teaching students in mathematics preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents, students, and colleagues. Strong interpersonal skills are required.
