We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible, and reliable individuals to join our team as Substitute Teachers. In this role, you will provide instructional support to students in the absence of their regular classroom teacher. You will be responsible for ensuring that lessons are carried out smoothly and that students remain engaged in learning activities.
Key Responsibilities:

• Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and productive classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behavior and enforce school rules.
• Support students with assignments and activities.
• Take attendance and ensure all students are accounted for.
• Communicate with school staff as needed to address student needs.
• Assist with student supervision during non-instructional times (e.g., lunch, recess).
• Provide feedback to the regular teacher upon their return.

Qualifications:

• Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in any field is required.
• Certification:
  Ohio Department of Education and Workforce Substitute Teaching License (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Experience:
  Previous experience working with children in a classroom or tutoring setting is preferred, but not required.

The WC 2024-25 daily rate for substitute teachers is $115.00
