The Division of Health Sciences at Sinclair is currently inviting highly qualified applicants for a Chairperson and Program Administrator for the Nursing Department .

Satisfactory performance of the Four Critical Performance areas required for all full-time faculty:

• Teaching, Learning, and Student Development :
  
  Participate in the continuing development and implementation of the department’s curriculum through teaching that reflects a strong commitment to fostering student success. Through in-class andout-of-class initiatives, actively seek to advance the development of individual students and their capacity to meet their educational goals.
• Scholarship and Professional Growth :
  Maintain and seekto improve currency and competence in the discipline and as ateacher.
• Curriculum Design, Assessment, and Evaluation :
  In collaboration with colleagues, actively contribute to the continuous review and revision of the department’s curriculum. Must exhibit advanced computer proficiency, alongside the capability andtime-management skills required for the effective development and revision of online courses. Implement evaluations to established standards and use assessment data to continuously improve teaching and learning.
• Workplace and Community Service :
  Contribute to the operation and advancement of the college through committee service and other activities. Extend professional expertise to the community served by the college.

• Provide strong leadership for improving student success
• Manage faculty, staff, and fiscal resources
• Support, supervise and evaluate departmental faculty andstaff
• Lead the continuing development and assessment of the department’s curriculum and programs
• Lead the continuing professional development of the department’s faculty and staff, full-time and part-time
