** Responsibilities:
*** Collaborating with Product Owners and other engineering disciplines on technical approaches
* Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
* Analyzing context of deliverable solution against constraints and available technology
* Exercising independent judgment on software architecture, methods, and techniques to achieve results
** Qualifications You Must Have:
*** Bachelor's of Science degree in System Engineering or related discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
* Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
* Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
* Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
* Knowledge of industry standard Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) approaches and tools
* Thorough understanding of requirements management, systems design, systems integration, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
* Software Systems Experience, experience in development, integration, and test of software systems
** Qualifications We Prefer:
*** Prior experience developing IDEs
* Advanced

Experience with requirements management and system modelling tools, such as DOORS, Rhapsody, No

Magic, MATLAB
* Experience or certification in INCOSE standards
* Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
* Experience leading baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of high impact trade studies and other measures
* Thorough understanding of establishing and tracking key Technical Performance Measurements (TPM)
* Experience integrating with existing or legacy aircraft platforms
* Experience working in Agile environments with Atlassian tools
* Familiarity with NIST cybersecurity standards and compliance frameworks
* Understanding of basic networking concepts including IP addressing, routing, secure communication protocols
* Knowledge of data transfer procedures across classification boundaries including secure file transfer methods between low and high side systems
