JOB SUMMARY
Are you an experienced engineer or analyst with a passion for contributing to one of the most innovative missile defense systems of our time? Skyline Scientific is seeking a Missile Engineer / Analyst to join our team in support of the contracts supporting national security initiatives.
This role offers you the opportunity to leverage your expertise in missile systems, remote sensing, and sensor fusion to help develop advanced detection, tracking, and interception technologies. You will work closely with engineers and analysts to integrate real-world data and algorithms that shape the future of national defense. This position is contingent upon the successful award of the contract.

- Analyze missile system performance and contribute to the development of detection, tracking, and interception algorithms.
- Create models to calculate the intercept location and time of flight parameters
- Support the design and optimization of algorithms in Python, MATLAB, or C++ for remote sensing and missile defense applications.
- Integrate sensor data into analytical models and operational workflows.
- Collaborate with engineers and analysts to ensure seamless integration into classified environments.
- Conduct research and data analysis to refine algorithms supporting missile detection and defense.
- Deliver technical briefings and reports on system performance, data analytics, and algorithm development.
- ACTIVE Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Image Science, or a related field, plus 10+ years of experience OR Master’s degree in STEM fields plus 5+ years’ relevant experience
- Strong analytical skills in missile systems, sensor data, and algorithm development
- Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or C++ for analysis and modeling
- Experience with missile system analysis, signal processing, sensor fusion or energetics/explosives analysis
- Ability to work on-site at Wright-Patterson AFB supporting classified projects
- ACTIVE TS/SCI with Polygraph
- PHD
- Familiarity with geospatial intelligence (GEOINT), signals intelligence (SIGINT), or electronic warfare (EW)
- Experience with sensor fusion and missile detection system integration
- Strong background in missile defense system performance analysis and algorithm optimization
