This role maintains and enhances Windows systems and infrastructure for the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
The Windows Systems Administrator is part of a team of systems, network, and storage administrators supporting two production networks and an R&D environment, including Linux and Windows.
- Windows Server Administrator (Level 2):
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of relevant experience, or master’s degree with 0 years of relevant experience. - Principal Windows Server Administrator (Level 3):
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of relevant experience, or master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience. - Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Active IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security X (formerly CASP+), Security+, or CISSP).
- Minimum of three years’ experience in Windows Server administration.
- Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager/Endpoint Configuration Manager experience.
- Experience with network switch configuration.
- Experience scripting with Power Shell, Perl, Bash, etc.
- Experience with hardware installation and maintenance, including firmware upgrades.
- Experience in enterprise backup and restore solutions, SAN, and NAS.
- HTC Condor experience.
- Elasticsearch/Kibana experience.
Primary Level: $75,800.00 – $
Secondary Level: $94,200.00 – $
BenefitsEmployees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and company results.
