SNC's Military Fellowship Program partners with programs such as Skill Bridge and Hiring Our Heroes to provide fellowship opportunities to service members transitioning to the civilian workforce. These fellowships include up to six months of on-the-job industry training for eligible service members. During this time, participants gain valuable work experience in the civilian sector and build professional networks as they prepare for their transition to full-time civilian work.

NOTE:

You must be currently serving on active duty to be eligible for this fellowship program. This program is not for veterans who have already separated from the military.
As a Configuration Analyst, you will manage the configuration of our engineering and manufacturing products through the use of a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. These cover a very wide range, from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems. You'll plan and coordinate the preparation of product structure to ensure compliance with customer requirements, company standards, and industry standards.

This includes input and accuracy of Product Data to include Parts and Bills of Materials (BoMs) as well as auditing the Configuration Management systems usage and verification of product configuration.
Ideal military backgrounds for this role include Information Technology Specialists, Aviation Electronics Technicians, and Cyber Network Operators from any branch. Your experience in detailed documentation, problem-solving, and project management aligns well with our needs.

** Qualifications You Must Have:
*** Currently serving as active duty military and be eligible to participate in the DoD Skill Bridge program
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field of study and typically 0-2 or more years of relevant experience  + A higher level degree may substitute for experience  + Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
* Familiarity with working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
* Exposure to Documentation Control Database systems
** Qualifications We Prefer:
*** Experience using PDM/PLM systems such as Windchill, Enovia 3

Dxperience software, and CAD tools such as SOLIDWORKS, Creo, NX, Pro Engineer, AutoCAD, CATIA.
* Background in the Aerospace & Defense Industry
* Knowledge of industry-standard design principles, to include, but not limited to parametric design, model-based definition, material hardware and or electrical component selection, fabrication, manufacturing, and production processes
* Understanding of the engineering release and control process for all data associated with system, mechanical, electrical, printed circuit board and/or software products
* Experience with AS 9100, ISO 9001, EIA-649, MIL-HDBK-61, IEEE 828 and/or CMMI
* Ability to rapidly work on projects involving both small and large Engineering, Operations, and Program Management teams
* Skilled in product configuration definition and product structure development
* Ability to generate and maintain Product Structures compliant with all product line items required by various Engineering and Operations groups
* Certification in Configuration Management disciplines
* Military background in Information Technology, Aviation Electronics, and Cyber Network Operations.
