Remote (may require onsite visits to DLA Mechanicsburg, PA and DLA Columbus, OH). Supporting: DLA Network Operations (Net Ops) Engineering Support Services Task Order (TO).

Comp Tech is seeking a qualified Senior Telecommunications Network Engineer to support DLA Net Ops Engineering Services. Any offer is contingent on TO award.

Basic Level – Requires experience in telecommunications network design and management. Must be capable of working independently or with minimal direction on moderately complex requirements involving analysis, planning, programming, and implementation. Possesses experience in analyzing and designing voice networks, LAN data networks, wireless networks, and/or network management systems supporting voice and data services. Responsibilities include analyzing and developing telecommunications networks that support voice, data, video, and wireless capabilities;

creating designs and installation/maintenance plans from project inception through completion; defining problems and developing system requirements and network specifications; and collaborating closely with other IT professionals to ensure proper implementation.

Senior Level – In addition to Basic Level competencies, includes supporting complex applications involving full lifecycle network design, implementation, and analysis. Demonstrated experience managing these activities, evaluating and estimating costs for carrier-provided voice and data LAN services, designing access and backbone networks using carrier services, and overseeing analysis and design of wireless voice or data networks. Provides technical and administrative leadership for staff engaged in network design, implementation, and operations.

Reviews work products for accuracy, compliance with design concepts and user standards, and schedule adherence. Makes recommendations for approval of major network installations. Prepares milestone reports and delivers presentations on network progress to stakeholders.

• Five (5) years relevant experience
• Top Secret Clearance
• IAT-II
• Computing Environment: CCNP, CCWP, or other relevant Telecommunication Engineer Senior Cisco certifications
