Are you an Application Engineer with mechanical design experience looking for a technically challenging, autonomous position working with industry leading customers?
Do you want the chance to work directly with engineering teams, customers and key stakeholders across diverse and pioneering projects from concept to completion?
This global automation business offers a unique opportunity to collaborate directly with project management, engineering, customers and key stakeholders on a variety of highly specialized, purpose built automation systems. You'll be instrumental in developing customer relationships, conducting site visits to analyze and present specific proposals, developing innovative concepts alongside engineers. You will play a key role in mechanical design, develop automated equipment concepts to meet customer requirements whilst providing cost estimations, detailed quotes and support project launch.
The ideal candidate will have a mechanical engineering background with a technical mindset, be willing to travel customer facilities when required and be able to communicate technical product information effectively.

The Position:- Work cross-functionally with project managers, engineering teams and key stakeholders on pioneering automation engineering projects
- Around 10% travel to customer facilities to develop relationships and present proposals
- Conduct mechanical design, develop automated equipment concepts, cost estimations and support with project launch
- Specific OEM training, career progression options and a great company package on offer
- Application Engineer with experience in Automation Engineering
- Mechanical design experience
- Effective communicator and able to travel to customer sites (around 10%)
- Preferably hold a Mechanical Engineering Degree
