My client, a leading Tier-1 supplier to the automotive industry, is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to support their New Program Launch Engineering Group. This critical role will focus on new model equipment planning, installation, and new product launch preparation.

Based in the Dayton, OH area, you’ll contribute directly to the successful execution of new automotive programs from concept through mass production.

• Base salary: $75,000–$85,000 + 5%–10% target bonus

• Plan and implement equipment for new model programs and engineering changes
• Lead installation, trial runs, and troubleshooting of production machinery
• Support process layout, time studies, and efficiency improvements
• Develop and manage capital project budgets and timelines
• Coordinate with production, quality, and design teams during launch phases
• Maintain documentation and participate in root cause analysis and resolution

• Be able to do the job as described
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field preferred
• Strong hands‑on mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to manage projects, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and meet deadlines
• Prior experience working for a Japanese automotive supplier strongly preferred
