Job Description
Job Title: Engineering Subject Matter Specialist
Location: Remote (may require occasional on‑site visits to DLA Mechanicsburg, PA and DLA Columbus, OH)
Supporting: The DLA
Overview: Comp Tech is seeking a qualified Engineering Subject Matter Specialist to support the DLA Network Operations (Net Ops) Engineering Support Services Task Order. This position will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle—planning, requirements analysis, modeling, simulation, testing, system integration, documentation, and technical presentations.
Scope of Work:
- Provide advanced technical expertise and analytical support in highly specialized applications and operational environments.
- Conduct high‑level functional systems analysis to guide development and decision making.
- Oversee system design, integration, and documentation activities for complex technical initiatives.
- Deliver implementation support and technical guidance for challenges requiring deep subject‑matter expertise.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Ten (10) years of relevant experience.
- Security Clearance:
Secret. - IA Level: IAT II or IAM‑II;
CompTIA Security+, SSCP, CySA+ certifications. - CCNP or CCNP‑E certification.
- Travel:
Must be able to travel to Columbus, OH or Mechanicsburg, PA for occasional on‑site meetings.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Public Trust clearance.
