Pay Rate$110k-$130k base salary + 20% annual bonus potential (divided across personal/divisional/company performance) + Comprehensive Benefits (80-90% paid of individual paid for by the company) + 401k with 4% Match
Must Have- Experience as a Sr. Cost Accountant or Sr. Plant Accountant
- Experience with high-volume AR/AP activity (large part-count environments; heavy invoice flow)
- Manufacturing background (with experience in cost control, accrual accounting, and fast-cycle (weekly) financial reporting, inventory management)
- Strong communication skills and ability to partner with General Managers and operation leaders
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

We are seeking a highly capable Sr. Plant Controller to lead on-site financial operations in a fast‑paced, high-volume, and highly dynamic environment. This role is central to the plant’s financial accuracy, operational decision-making, and daily performance. You will partner closely with the Plant General Manager, oversee core accounting functions, drive cost control, and ensure timely weekly financial reporting. This is a hands‑on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in decentralized, real‑time operational finance and wants to make a measurable impact on plant performance.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Own Plant Financial Operations – Manage weekly financial reporting, forecasting, accruals, and cost analysis in a fast‑turn environment where accuracy and speed are essential.
- Cost Control & Variation Analysis – Monitor production costs, labor, inventory movements, and part‑level details; provide clear insight and recommendations to plant leadership.
- Inventory Management – Oversee inventory accuracy, perform reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and maintain high standards of tracking across thousands of parts.
- Transactional Oversight – Manage high‑volume AR/AP activity, ensuring timely processing and error‑free data across a large catalog of part numbers and invoices.
- Compliance & Controls – Ensure all plant‑level financial and compliance deadlines are met (including the 15th‑of‑month requirements).
- Operational Partnership – Work side‑by‑side with the General Manager in daily production meetings, offering financial perspective and helping guide operational decisions.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Partner with Corporate, Operations, and other plant leaders to maintain accuracy, streamline workflows, and share best practices.
- Process Improvement – Recommend enhancements to systems, reporting workflows, and plant financial processes in a continually evolving environment.
- Leadership & Influence – Act as the on‑site financial authority—building credibility, communicating clearly, and guiding the plant through financial priorities and challenges.
