Support Worker - Mounties Care Eastwood, NSW

Mounties Care, powered by Mounties Group, provides in-home care that supports people to live independently with dignity. We’re seeking compassionate, reliable Support Workers to join our team across Sydney, including but not limited to the following areas:

• South-Western Sydney
• Inner West
• North Shore
• Northern Beaches
• Eastwood and surrounds
• Mount Ku-ring-gai/Dural

We are searching for passionate Support Workers to join our Mounties Care Team supporting our clients in Eastwood and surrounding areas. There are multiple opportunities available - Casual, Part-time, Overnight and Live-In Care!

As a Support Worker, some of your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Accompanying clients during daily activities running errands and going on outings
• Food preparation and shopping
• Assisting in personal care and hygiene such as showering and dressing
• Performing household tasks such as cleaning, washing and folding clothes
• Providing social interaction and companionship
• Transport to appointments
• Live in Care services (for the right candidate)

The ideal candidate will ideally have:

• 1+ year experience in aged care or disability support
• Cert III in Individual Support or similar – desirable
• Disability or dementia experience – desirable
• NDIS Worker Check or Police Check (or willing to obtain)
• First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)
• COVID-19 vaccination (at least 2 doses)
• Own vehicle with insurance
• Good communication skills
