Dayton Children’s – South Campus, Ohio

Part-time

8‑hour shifts covering XR and CT at outpatient locations and Main Campus – Springsboro, Centerville, Beavercreek, Huber, Troy, Springfield and Main Campus.

Willingness to cover all locations – Main, South, and off-sites. XR at all locations; CT at Springboro and Main Campus.

• Produce quality diagnostic images on patients of all ages using the CT scanner and associated equipment.
• Perform tasks with minimal supervision while adhering to quality parameters.
• Independently perform or assist the licensed independent practitioner in radiographic procedures.
• Prepare, administer, and document activities related to contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations or institutional policy.
• Educate patients and parents regarding procedures performed and safety within the CT department.
• Support the organization’s systems and processes while recognizing the importance of staff competence.
• Maintain CPR certification, Ohio licensure, and ARRT registration, and participate in hospital‑wide mandatory education.
• Advocate for individualized patient care, providing respectful, considerate care and affirming patient decision rights.
• Collaborate with radiology staff and other departments to provide a continuum of care.
• Work with student technologists to assure a positive learning experience during clinical rotations.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or Sciences required.
• Radiologic License – Ohio Department of Health required.
• ARRT in Radiography required; advanced registry in CT preferred.
• CPR certification required.

• Must cover multiple locations (Main, South, and off‑sites).
• XR at all locations; CT at Springboro and Main Campus.
