Shift: Full Time 7pm - 7:30am / 72 Hours per Pay

The Flight Paramedic functions in a versatile role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence. The Flight Paramedic provides advanced emergency/critical care in conjunction with a Care Flight Nurse during transport. The Flight Paramedic utilizes evidence-based principles to provide safe and rapid transport of critically ill or injured patients by air ambulance or mobile intensive care to a higher-level medical treatment facility.
The Flight Paramedic provides advanced emergency/critical care during medical transport and may also provide care within their scope of practice throughout Premier Health. This position also includes public relations and medical education functions.
Education:
High School completion / GED.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- bLS, ACLS, and PALS (required at hire)
- ITLS or PHTLS within 90 days
- NRP, ATLS (audit) within 1 year
- CAMTS approved professional certification within 2 years
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of Paramedic experience with transport experience required. Preferred to have recent full-time active experience with 911 Emergency Service Agency or MICU Transport Company.
