Overview

This field‑based Clinical Specialist supports the Pelvic Health groups in surgical coverage, follow‑up, support, troubleshooting, customer service, and education within a territory. The role may also involve basic market development activities as required.

Responsibilities will be carried out in a remote capacity from within the territory, with regular travel to multiple accounts. A valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance are required.

Responsibilities

Represent Medtronic Neuromodulation during surgeries and implants by providing all necessary equipment and products, and demonstrating expertise in implant selection, programming, and testing.

Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of assigned products, services, and competitors.

Proactively identify needs and educate a broad level of caregivers and account employees.

Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical matters via one‑on‑one sessions, on‑site programs, seminars, and out‑of‑hospital symposiums.

Assist district manager and in‑house training on education of new employees (therapy consultants, clinical specialists, field clinical engineers).

Provide sales support during or after cases, including documentation (implant registration, temporary , packing lists) and invoicing.

Communicate effectively with district personnel, customers, and Medtronic employees.

Contribute to milestone completion for regional and national projects.

Understand all quality policy/system items applicable to the role.

Follow work/quality procedures to ensure compliance and high‑quality work.

Perform other related activities as assigned.

Qualifications

Must Have:
Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years of clinical or medical sales experience.
Associate’s Degree with at least 2 years of clinical or medical sales experience, or a Bachelor’s degree.

Nice to Have

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
Clinical skill and knowledge (e.g., simple trial, implant, pump refill).
Experience with implantable Neuromodulation products and stimulation.
Experience servicing medical personnel on product use.
Experience in urology, surgical, RN, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedic, operating room, or home health care.
Excellent communication, organizational, coaching, prioritization, and multitasking skills.

Additional Job Requirements

Independent mobility and regular interaction with a computer.

Must drive approximately 50% of the time within the assigned territory and may require overnight travel.

Benefits & Compensation

Competitive salary range (U.S. excluding Puerto Rico): $64,000 – $96,000. Eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) to earn significant incentive compensation.
