Are you a compassionate nursing professional with leadership experience and a passion for enhancing residents' quality of life? Spring Hills Singing Woods is seeking a dedicated Director of Resident Care (DRC) to oversee and coordinate our Nursing program, ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of care while maintaining their dignity and independence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise the nursing team to deliver comprehensive care that addresses emotional, physical, psychological, and safety needs.
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR), documentation, and eMAR systems to assess residents, develop care plans, and track progress.
- Collaborate with team members and families to adapt care levels as needed, ensuring accurate billing and compliance.
- Oversee specialized programs such as Spring Cottage Memory Care, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Recruit, train, evaluate, and manage nursing staff, fostering a positive and compliant work environment.
- Manage staffing schedules, monitor payroll within budget, and ensure adequate supplies and equipment.
- Ensure all safety incidents and documentation are completed per company and state regulations.
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations, participate in audits, and implement corrective plans.
- Work with third-party vendors and service providers to coordinate quality care.
- Lead emergency preparedness efforts, including drills and equipment familiarization.
- Promote ongoing staff education and ensure participation in required training.
- Uphold company values, policies, and confidentiality standards at all times.
- Valid nursing license in the state of Ohio (LPN licensure is required).
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a nursing or healthcare setting.
- Experience in dementia or memory care is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of state regulations, electronic health records, and care planning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
