The selected therapist will demonstrate competency in pediatric and adolescent assessment and intervention strategies (and adult competency if indicated for the role).

• Carry out thorough evaluations and implement appropriate treatment plans using evidence‑based practice.
• Effectively communicate treatment plans with caregivers and patients, actively including them in goal setting and intervention processes.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and determine appropriate discharge timing.
• Collaborate with other professionals within the organization and community to assure coordination of services.
• Continually expand knowledge and skills, participating in professional development.
• Actively participate in team meetings, completing all mandatory assignments.
• Consistently exhibit Dayton Children’s Hospital values and culture in daily work and interactions with patients, families, and co‑workers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Physical Therapy License in the State of Ohio is required.
• 2 years of experience in Pediatrics is preferred.
• CPR:
  Cardio‑Pulmonary Resuscitation – American Heart Association.
• Other certifications may include PT Ohio, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers.

Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy (Required).

CPR:
