The Paramedic delivers advanced life support (ALS) care in emergency and non-emergency environments. This role requires advanced clinical judgment, leadership on scene, and adherence to medical protocols.

• Provide ALS patient care including medication administration and advanced airway management
• Lead patient care during emergency responses
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and interventions
• Operate ambulance and ALS equipment safely and effectively
• Accurately document patient care and treatments
Mentor EMT partners as appropriate
• Ensure compliance with medical direction and protocols

• Current Paramedic certification (Ohio or Iowa, or reciprocity eligible)
• Current ACLS, PALS, and CPR certifications
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to meet physical demands of the role
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills

• 2+ years of Paramedic experience
• Critical Care or FTO experience
• EVOC/CEVO certification

• 12- or 24-hour shifts (varies by operation)
