The Ambulatory Nurse is a nursing staff position reporting to the Administrative Manager. Responsibilities include performing treatments, administering medications, assisting in procedures performed without anesthesia using aseptic technique, assisting with employee education and orientation, and providing patient/family education to improve health outcomes. The role involves family/significant others in health care planning and decision making, delegates and evaluates health care to assistive personnel per the hospital plan for nursing, and advocates for each patient’s individual health care needs and right to make decisions regarding their medical care.

Schedule & HoursFull time; 32 hours per week.
Hours:
Monday‑Friday 8‑4:30 P M, with off day per week.
Commitment to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing within 5 years of hire. Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Registered Nursing license in the State of Ohio.
Education RequirementsAssociate’s degree (required)
Certification / License RequirementsRegistered Nurse (RN) – Ohio Board of Nursing; CPR – American Heart Association
