The Marriott at the University of Dayton is seeking the right person to join our team as a Front Desk Supervisor. Salary: $17.00 to $19.20 per hour.
Working at the front desk means you are at the hub of the hotel, interacting most with our guests. As the front desk supervisor you bring this group together, ensuring excellent service while maintaining brand and Concord standards. Your proactive, responsive, and caring approach is key to the overall guest experience. If you enjoy engaging with others, leading a team, and have a winning personality and strong sense of responsibility, this role is for you!
RoleResponsibilities
- Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.
- Check guests in and out efficiently and in a friendly manner.
- Handle guest mail and messages per established procedures.
- Develop a thorough knowledge of hotel staff, room locations, room rates, amenities, and selling strategies.
- Take reservation requests efficiently.
- Answer the switchboard in accordance with standards of proper telephone etiquette.
- Block rooms and handle special requests.
- Monitor room availability and offer AGM and GM assistance in yield management and restrictions.
- Handle safe deposits by guests per established procedures.
- Keep lobby and desk area clean and presentable.
- Have a thorough knowledge of emergency and security procedures.
Must have a clean driving record.
