Computer and Information Systems Manager

ECS is seeking a Computer and Information Systems Manager to work in our Dayton, OH office. This position is contingent upon contract award.

The Air Force (AF) Reliability and Maintainability Information System (REMIS), Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Business and Enterprise Systems (BES) Directorate (GB) requires full software development lifecycle activities to preserve and enhance REMIS service capabilities in support of United States (US) warfighters worldwide. REMIS is the AF Maintenance Enterprise system providing organizational, intermediate and depot level operational authoritative information for all AF weapon systems (Fighter, Bomber, Transport and Helicopter;
Remotely Piloted Vehicle (RPV)/Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV);
Satellite, Missile;
Trainer;
Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Vehicles;
Communications-Electronics;
Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) and Support Equipment) supporting AF worldwide Operating Bases and Logistic Complexes. REMIS is a data system for collecting, validating, editing, processing, integrating, standardizing and reporting equipment maintenance data, including reliability and maintainability data, on a global basis. REMIS is the Financial System feeder for cost accounting and depreciation of all AF weapon systems. The scope of services will support the REMIS Program Management Office (PMO), AFLCMC/GBM.

ECS will perform all technical and operational support for REMIS which will require expertise in large-scale systems engineering, development, integration, and operational processes.

• Plan, coordinate, and direct computer-related activities within an organization, ensuring IT systems align with business goals.
• Oversee entire IT areas such as cybersecurity, infrastructure, or support services.
• Assess the organization's technology needs, recommend upgrades, and implement new systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Lead teams of IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective operation of computer systems.
• Responsible for budgeting IT projects, managing costs, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

• 5+ Years experience as a Computer and Information Systems Manager
• Bachelor's Degree
• Agile Certificate
• Active Secret Clearance

• 5+ Years’ experience working on DoD programs is highly desired
• Interest in new technologies and the ability to adopt to those new technologies.
• Possess and applies expert knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of system administration.
