IT Cloud Support Specialist – Remote, United States

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) – Secret Security Clearance

Comp Tech is seeking a qualified IT Cloud Support Specialist to support our customer the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering customer support services related to cloud‑based application migration and the deployment of new cloud solutions.

• Collaborate with customers to scope and plan cloud initiatives
• Assist with the execution of cloud projects
• Research, diagnose, and report technical issues
• Consult with users to gather requirements and define solution needs
• Develop business cases to support project decisions
• Ensure adherence to information security and cybersecurity policies and best practices
• Facilitate Change Management activities
• Support configuration management processes
• Provide cloud cost analysis support to assist with cloud hosting financial planning
• Generate cloud planning estimates and forecast projected costs
• Support the EH Office by reporting, consolidating, and validating data for cloud financial reporting requirements
• Research and identify trends, challenges, and opportunities to optimize and reduce cloud costs

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Five (5) years of progressive experience in the field of Cloud Hosting

• IA Level: IAT-II One of the following:
  • CCNA Security
  • CySA+
  • GICSP
  • Security+ CE
  • SSCP
  • CASP+ CE
  • CCNP Security
  • CISA
  • CISSP (or Associate)
  • GCED
• And one of the following:
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner
  • AWS Developer Associate
  • AWS Solutions Architect
  • AWS Sys Ops Administrator
  • AWS Dev Ops Engineer
  • AWS Solution Architect
  • AWS Advanced Networking
  • AWS Data, Analytics
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations
  • Oracle Cloud Data Management Foundations
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Foundations
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Professional
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Security Professional
  • Oracle Cloud Database Service Professional

  • OCO Observation and Management Professional
  • Azure Fundamentals

  • Azure for SAP Workloads

• Must have ACTIVE Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this role.

• $95k – $105k + Benefits, PTO, 401k
