Computer Support Technician

DDC IT Services is seeking a Computer Support Technician to join the Wright Patterson Air Force Base team. In this role, you will work in a fast‑paced environment supporting Air Force personnel with computer hardware, software, network and server issues.

Location:

Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, OH

• Provide hardware and software support to end users (PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices)
• Install, update, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems, desktop applications and device drivers
• Diagnose and repair hardware problems, perform system upgrades and data security management
• Monitor and maintain networks, servers, and internet connectivity
• Support CAC deployment, PKI certificates, and Active Directory tasks
• Provide remote support and document solutions
• Collaborate with Service Technicians and other IT staff to resolve Level 2 and Level 3 incidents

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 6+ months of relevant experience preferred
• Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one
• One of the following Level II certifications: CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP
• Experience with Windows, MS Office, Active Directory, and remote desktop tools
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer‑service skills

The role includes Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 responsibilities.
Level 1 focuses on initial customer contact and issue resolution.
Level 2 involves detailed troubleshooting and remote resolution.
Level 3 provides hands‑on support for complex hardware, imaging, and re‑installation tasks.
