04 Consulting is recruiting an IT professional who can support core infrastructure while taking a hands-on role in cybersecurity operations. This position combines Microsoft cloud administration, network and server support, complex technical troubleshooting, and security monitoring in an onsite environment.

• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Entra , Defender, and Purview environments.
• Maintain Windows servers, Active Directory, endpoints, cloud services, and onsite network infrastructure.
• Configure and support firewalls, VPN connections, and network switching; resolve escalated infrastructure and end-user issues.
• Monitor security tools, investigate alerts, assist with incident response, and apply patches and security improvements.
• Support system deployments, upgrades, technical documentation, and security/compliance activities.
• Coordinate technical support for local and remote users; participate in on-call support and domestic travel as needed.

• Approximately 3-5 years of practical experience across infrastructure support, network administration, and cloud systems.
• Hands-on administration of Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra , Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Purview.
• Experience configuring firewalls, VPNs, and network switches, plus supporting Active Directory and Windows Server.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and network issues while supporting end users effectively.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a security clearance; no employment-visa sponsorship or corp-to-corp arrangements.

Experience with CMMC/NIST SP 800-171 implementation, CompTIA Security+ or Network+ certification, SIEM platforms, or AWS.

Work across infrastructure and cybersecurity responsibilities in a role that calls for practical problem-solving and broad technical capability.
