The Role

We are seeking an experienced Dev Ops Engineer with a strong background in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation to serve as a technical advocate supporting our client's cloud initiatives. This role involves collaborating with development and security teams to build resilient CI/CD pipelines, optimize core cloud network topologies, and maintain proactive observability and alerting tools. You will have the opportunity to leverage your expertise in cloud orchestration, scripting, and access management, working closely with our team to deliver high-impact, secure, and repeatable cloud deployments.

The ideal candidate would be an automation-driven systems thinker who understands that infrastructure is only as reliable as the code that provisions it. This position will bridge the gap between application development and IT operations, ensuring our client's mission-critical systems are secure, scalable, and highly available.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for repeatable and secure cloud deployments
• Build, maintain, and refactor CI/CD pipelines to accelerate feature delivery, minimize risk, and reduce technical debt
• Configure and manage observability tools, dashboards, and proactive alerting to detect and resolve issues
• Respond to production issues, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to incident postmortems
• Collaborate with development teams to align infrastructure design with application requirements
• Document technical designs, runbooks, and standard operating procedures to ensure team alignment
• Participate in sprint planning and advocate for automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency
• Utilize Cloud & Dev Ops Skills to:
• Design, provision, and maintain core cloud network topologies and troubleshoot connectivity across multi-environment setups
• Enhance secrets management, access controls, and audit IAM roles/policies for least-privilege access in collaboration with security engineers
• Improve visibility into cloud resource utilization and cost to support budget-aware engineering decisions
