We are currently looking for Onsite Haitian Creole Contract Interpreters in the Dayton, Ohio area who have a sincere desire to use their language skills to help people and are passionate about what they do.

• Provide consecutive in‑person and virtual first‑person interpretation, both by phone and video remote.
• Follow interpreter protocols and procedures required by Propio L.S. clients.
• Adhere to all Propio L.S. policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA, and any other applicable regulatory requirements or policies.
• Establish and maintain quality service and positive interaction with all patients, customers, visitors, health‑care providers, and clinical employees.
• Continuously improve vocabulary and specialized subject‑matter knowledge, as required for various clients such as medical, legal, social services, etc.

• Submit an updated resume in English at time of application.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Intermediate level computer skills.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Provide documentation of updated vaccinations, including TB, MMR, Varicella, Hep B (or declination), TDAP, Seasonal Influenza, and Covid.
• Successful completion of a drug test and background check & security screen.
• Signed commitment to confidentiality, adherence to ethics, and HIPAA compliance.
• 1+ years of interpreting experience.

• International Medical Interpreters Association (IMIA)
• California Healthcare Interpreters Association (CHIA)
