ABOUT THIS POSITION:
The successful candidate would have an outgoing personality, enjoy collaborating with senior citizens, and have a license to practice in Ohio. We need a team-player who is computer savvy, detail driven, professional and productive. We have a large paralegal support staff to assist in making our attorneys highly productive.

An active license with the Ohio Bar Association is a required condition for consideration.

Although experienced applicants are preferrable, we will train the right person, particularly those placing in the top 50% of their law school class. This is an exceptional opportunity for a new attorney.

BENEFITS

The salary is $70,000 - $80,000 annually with an incentive plan to earn more. Full-time team members are eligible to join the firm’s health & welfare plans on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. We are offering a $1,500.00 sign on bonus.

DUTIES
  • Conduct thorough legal research on various topics including but not limited to Estate Planning, Trust Administration, and Probate Law.
  • Draft legal documents such as Advance Directives, Probate Pleadings, Trusts, and briefs with precision and clarity.
  • Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and provide support.
  • Maintain organized case files and documentation to ensure compliance with legal standards.
EXPERIENCE
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.
  • Prior experience in legal research is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with family law, estate planning, and probate law is advantageous.
  • Strong skills in legal drafting and negotiation are essential for success in this role.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are necessary for effective client interaction and representation.
  • An active license with the Ohio Bar Association is a required condition for consideration.
