Automotive Service Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Service Manager to lead our team! You will be responsible for many things in this role and most of all making our customers a #1 priority. We are a GM franchised dealership; having GM dealership experience is highly recommended and encouraged. Please be prepared with references and previous employment verification. You must have 5 years franchised dealership experience to be considered in this role.

All duties of a certified GM service manager, including working with GM factory reps on a weekly basis. The ability to be top 3 in the ZONE.

• Handle customer inquiries and complaints
• Provide information about the products and services
• Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
• Document and update customer records based on interactions
• Develop and maintain a knowledgebase of the evolving products and services

• Must have previous experience in this role, and within a franchised dealership.
• Ability to build rapport with clients, staff
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Positive and professional demeanor, represent the dealership well.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Abilit to lift the department numbers within 60 days
• increase retention and gross profit
• work well with fellow employees and team members

We are a franchised GM dealership. We hope to hire someone with prior proven experience to lead our team. In this role you will work for the owner on a weekly basis setting goals to grow the shop and serve our customers.
