- High school education with lab experience, associate or bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or related technical or scientific field
- Experience in lab synthesis and polymer chemistry
- Experience setting up glassware for polymer and organic synthesis
- Experience working with glass reactors (tens of liters scale) in a pilot or lab facility
- Willing and able to work off-shift, night-shift, and rotating shifts
- Willing and able to wear personal protective equipment including respirator
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel) and word processing (MS Word)
- Able to perform physical work consistent with corporate ergonomic guidelines. Can lift up to 55 lbs.
- A proven track record of having a strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Experience with data analysis to identify problems and plan a path forward for resolution
- Experience with data interpretation from various analytical techniques
- Experience working in an ISO/AS9100 certified working environment
- Experience in chemical synthesis in lab or chemical manufacturing environment.
- Able to perform physical work (e.g., lifting to 20 kg) and use drum carts to move up to 180 kg consistent with corporate ergonomic guidelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email.
- Willing and able to wear personal protective equipment including respirator, safety shoes, goggles, and gloves.
- Flexible to work 1st (8:00am-4:30pm) and 2nd (4:30pm-12:30am) shift when needed.
