Brief Description

Responsibilities- Set up CNC milling machines with the right tooling, fixtures, offsets, and programs.
- Run first‑piece inspections and make on‑the‑fly tweaks to hit tight tolerances.
- Produce high‑quality parts with consistency and confidence.
- Keep your machines humming smoothly through every production run.
- Read blueprints and GD&T like a second language.
- Use precision measuring tools to ensure every part is exactly right.
- Perform in‑process inspections and document your results.
- Diagnose setup or machining issues and adjust parameters to perfection.
- Handle tool changes, lubrication, and routine maintenance.
- Work closely with maintenance or leadership on equipment needs.
- 2–5 years of CNC milling setup & operation experience.
- Ability to read blueprints & GD&T with confidence.
- Comfortable with G‑code and CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, etc.).
- Strong machining knowledge—speeds/feeds, tooling, materials, the works.
- Skilled with precision measurement tools.
- A natural problem‑solver and clear communicator.
- Experience on multi‑axis or vertical/horizontal mills.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM systems (Edgecam, Esprit, etc.).
- Familiarity with lean/continuous improvement practices.
- Ability to mentor and train CNC associates.
