Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of combined experience in admissions, enrollment management, copy writing or technical writing, management, training, marketing or similar fields
  • Experience with Slate or similar CRM
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative communicator
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Internet-based collaboration tools
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Effective problem solving and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree
  • Experience in higher education and enrollment management/admissions
Essential Functions and Percent of Time Content Development and Execution (55%)
  • Implements and maintains a comprehensive multi-channel communication strategy and editorial content calendar that informs, influences, and engages prospective students across all segments and stages of the enrollment cycle.
  • Serves as copywriter for electronic communications, ensuring alignment with editorial standards, style guides, branding guidelines, and best practices.
  • Researches, writes, proofs, and edits copy for enrollment management communications: email, print, web, social media.
  • Reviews and edits enrollment materials for consistency and accuracy.
  • Researches and evaluates current methods and trends in print and electronic communication and marketing.
  • Manages day-to-day setup of email/SMS messages, recipient lists, conditional logic, and A/B testing for mailings in CRM.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to create and execute communication strategies for outreach initiatives and events.
  • Plans and authors emails to non-student constituents (parents/families, counselors, community organizations, etc.).
  • Solicits and edits messages from faculty, staff, alumni, current students, and parents for communication flows.
  • Ensures content accuracy, tone, brand alignment, and accessibility through internal approvals.
  • Supports web pages and admissions-related content updates.
  • Analyzes data to assess communication effectiveness and ROI; uses benchmarks to inform strategy.
  • Monitors external trends and provides recommendations for adjustments.
  • Coordinates with Marketing and Communications on photography and multimedia assets for enrollment communications.
  • Serves as a CRM expert for communications.
Event Forms and Content Development (20%)
  • Collaborates with Enrollment Operations to maintain communications for enrollment events.
  • Supports enrollment event builds with colleges and shares best practices.
Project/Vendor Management (20%)
  • Coordinates RFP processes, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing relationships with enrollment-specific partners/vendors.
  • Ensures project deadlines are met.
  • Gathers information for external sites to ensure content is relevant and current.
  • Works with vendors on implementation for Slate communications.
Other (5%)
  • Supports implementation and integration of new application systems and related communications.
  • Assists with data entry, integrity, reporting, and analytics.
