Food Service Worker​/Cashier

FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Location:

Premier Health – 1 Wyoming Street, Dayton, OH 45409. Online applications only.

Schedule:

Full‑time and part‑time positions, Monday to Friday. May work until 4:30 pm. Hours vary, details upon interview.

Requirement:
Previous food service and customer service experience preferred.

Pay Range: $16.00 per hour – $17.00 per hour.

Performs cashiering duties, including general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in preparation, service, and dining areas.

• Prepare fruits and vegetables (wash, peel, cut, seed); weigh and measure ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays between stations, stove, and refrigerator following safety standards.
• Store foods in designated areas per wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Use approved recipes and production standards for quality, temperature, and portion control.
• Serve customers efficiently and friendly, following service steps.
• Resolve customer complaints courteously.
• Report relevant information to supervisors.
• Perform sales transactions, enter items into the cash register, and make accurate change.
• Accept card payments and other forms of payment.
• Issue receipts and process refunds per standard procedures.
• Maintain cash drawer – compliance with overage/shortage standards.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies while keeping the service area clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
