SummaryThe primary function of the Parts Sales Representative is to assist customers in finding the appropriate parts for their truck both in person and on the telephone. Work with customers, mechanics, and peers to find accessories and order parts for repairs, enhancements or overall needs to the vehicle. Assist in stocking and organizing showroom floor as necessary.
Job Responsibilities- Maintain customer goodwill by greeting and acknowledging all customers who come in contact; offer assistance.
- Answer the telephone within three rings or fewer with the proper greeting and offer to assist the customer.
- Suggest additional products and/or services to repair the problem and meet customer needs.
- Follow prescribed cash, credit, and check processing procedures at the parts counter.
- Process cores and warranties.
- Follow up on shortages and expedite by reporting to Parts Manager.
- Be knowledgeable in product merchandising.
- Attend training as prescribed by management to maintain proficiency.
- Provide service technicians with parts as required.
- Maintain the retail sales floor and displays to meet or exceed dealership standards.
- Perform other tasks as required by Parts Manager.

- Flexibility – adapting to change with minimal resistance.
- Continuous Learning – regularly learning new concepts and technologies.

- Time and Priority Management – prioritizing and completing tasks within designated time frames.
- Preferred 3 years of leadership experience in a Human Resources team (relevant to prior HR role).
- In-person position in the Indianapolis Market.
- Some travel to other company locations, meetings, and industry continuing education.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems with preference for Paylocity.
- Capability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, or extended hours.
- Physical ability to move around the repair shop, walk, stand, bend or kneel to inspect vehicles or equipment.
- Good sight, hearing, manual dexterity, and ability to occasionally lift and move objects.
