As a Journeyman Plumber at Roto‑Rooter, you’ll be part of a well‑known national brand that offers job security, top pay, excellent benefits, and career advancement. Our plumbers provide a wide range of services including faucet repairs, water heater installations, and plumbing system replacements.

• Respond promptly to customer service calls, conduct thorough inspections, diagnose problems, offer effective solutions and estimates, and successfully close service sales.
• With necessary licensing, install and repair various plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, bathtubs, water heaters, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, and water softeners.
• Perform sewer and drain cleaning services in diverse environments such as basements, roofs, confined spaces, and close quarters, ensuring thorough cleaning and restoration of work sites.
• Prepare invoices, total costs, collect payment, and explain the Roto‑Rooter guarantee in writing and on the provided smartphone app.

• Valid driver’s license.
• State plumbing license preferred.
• Three or more years of repair and service plumbing experience required; proven track record in the sale of plumbing products and services.
• Full knowledge of plumbing systems essential for performing duties.
• Unlicensed plumbers must obtain Excavation Certification through Competent Person Training (OSHA requirement) within the first year of employment, and obtain a Journeyman license or equivalent certification as required by the state.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for effective customer service and strong interpersonal skills in client and coworker relations.
