Position SummaryWe are seeking an Experienced HVAC Technician to service and repair commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located at cell tower sites in the Dayton, Ohio area. This regional, fast‑paced role is ideal for a self‑directed, motivated individual willing to travel and learn in the telecom industry.
Core Responsibilities- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, or replace components of entire HVAC systems.
- Conduct performance checks and routine maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Perform additional maintenance or upgrades on out‑of‑season equipment.
- Respond to service calls promptly, including emergency call‑outs.
- Accurately complete daily work reports.
- Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely in compliance with company policy and insurance requirements.
- Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (required).
- 3+ years HVAC maintenance experience (commercial preferred).
- Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, including refrigeration systems.
- Effective verbal and email communication skills.
- Must reside in the Dayton, Ohio area.
- Available for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs on occasion.
- Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.
- Occasional overnight stays (company pays travel costs and provides per diem).
- Driving to remote sites as needed.
- Exposure to outdoor ambient temperatures.
- Lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Must pass a DOT physical examination.
$30.00‑$38.00 hourly, DOE. Compensation may also include performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, a company vehicle, per diem, and other applicable benefits.
