- Title: HVAC Technician
- Location: Dayton, OH
- 3K SIGN ON BONUS
- Salary: Up to $38.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Weekly pay on Fridays.

Here are just a few things you can expect to do daily:
- Work in a team oriented and safety conscious environment. Safety expectations include, but are not limited to, PJHA process, Observation process, and all company / site safety guidelines and procedures.
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on heating/air conditioning and/or refrigeration systems. Task completion may range from minimal supervision to directing other team members, depending on assigned tasks and development.
- Work without supervision where required.
- Perform equipment installation and repairs to HVAC equipment; troubleshoot malfunctions and perform preventive maintenance; refrigeration repairs and troubleshooting; and other mechanical related work as assigned.
- Ensure repairs and preventive maintenance are performed in conformance with established standards. Help formulate preventive maintenance standards / procedures and provide work order feedback on discrepancies.
- Maintain working knowledge of hand / power tools, HVAC & refrigeration tools, rigging, and preventive/predictive maintenance.
- Work from elevated areas using fall protection equipment as necessary.
- Flexibility to work all shifts including holidays and weekends as demanded by the job.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with all company / customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Achieve performance expectations and participate in development planning.
- Communicate with team members to support short- and long-range planning in alignment with company goals.
- Maintain personal tools required for the job and provide an up-to-date tool list as part of employment.
- Meet physical requirements of the job; details will be provided prior to employment.
- Perform tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner; additional task details will be supplied as part of employment.
- Complete accurate and timely administrative duties, including time accounting and work order completion.
- Experience: 5+ years in industrial HVAC/refrigeration maintenance and repairs.
- Certification: EPA Certificate - Universal Technician.

- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
- Ability to operate forklifts or other vehicles safely.
- Ability to wear a respirator while performing job duties.
- Communication — ability to convey information clearly.
- Information ordering — ability to arrange actions in a defined order.
